About Your Acupuncturist
I love to meet each patient and focus my attention on how I may help them. I try to use my knowledge and a gentle touch with deep empathy to resolve their health issues quickly and efficiently. It is awesome to see pain reduced and gone and health improved
Through continuing education and research, I am always learning new techniques that can help my patients. I have certificates in Detox acupuncture, Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture technique and Qigong.
I have been in practice nearly 19 years. It has always been my passion (since the age of 11) to help people with their health. I may have been influenced while helping my father and 3 of my uncles in their pharmacy business.
After several years teaching Spanish in high schools and community college, and more years working as a sales rep for several prominent companies, I decided to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine. I had been attending many classes and doing extensive reading on many health topics and especially on nutrition and herbal remedies.
I was also very interested in the way the body works. Chinese or East Asian Medicine is a medical system spanning thousands of years and includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tuina massage, cupping, moxibustion etc. addresses all the systems of the body. The National Institute of Health (NIH) recognizes the benefits of acupuncture for musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, reproductive, gynecological, etc issues.
